Taking the “lined” theme into the yellow tones. Ruffled pinard yellow to cream standards stand atop lightly shaded greenish yellow falls, the upper portion of which carries olive tan lines on a warm white background. Beards are tannish orange. Strongly flared, heavily substanced, with about seven or eight big flowers on well-branched stalks. Grows to 37" inches tall and blooms mid season.
A Note from Bonnie Iris rhizomes are best divided and transplanted after the plants finish blooming and have enough time to store nutrition in their roots. July through September is the best time to dig them up in Ohio. All Iris are grown on my farm and shipped from my home, bareroot with foliage and roots attached.BONUS rhizomes are always included at an average rate of 1 for every 5 purchased...my choice.
