PAINTED SHADOWS - Tall Bearded Iris - Stunning!Keppel 2015 Brassy sulfur standards with Mulberry to petunia purple falls with pearl grey edge which, with age, expands and extends inward to form pale veining. Variable pattern, at times with purple confined to a small area near brassy yellow beards. Thick stalks, show bench branching.
A Note from Bonnie Iris rhizomes are best divided and transplanted after the plants finish blooming and have enough time to store nutrition in their roots. July through September is the best time to dig them up in Ohio. All Iris are grown on my farm and shipped from my home, bareroot with foliage and roots attached.BONUS rhizomes are always included at an average rate of 1 for every 5 purchased...my choice.
