The sonorous tones of this bitone suggest the beguiling elusiveness of a world where everything isn’t necessarily as it seems. Yet shenanigans prevail. The rich coloration of this luxurious conjunction of aster violet purple and velvet eggplant invite repose. A winsome 1/2” purple skirting on the falls is a teaser compared to the total immersion of the murky standards. Shadow Caper’s tall stems have 3 branches, dependably producing 7 buds. We’re never too old to play. Grows to 43" inches tall and blooms mid to late season.

Iris rhizomes are best divided and transplanted after the plants finish blooming and have enough time to store nutrition in their roots. July through September is the best time to dig them up in Ohio. All Iris are grown on my farm and shipped from my home, bareroot with foliage and roots attached. BONUS rhizomes are always included at an average rate of 1 for every 5 purchased...my choice.
