This is a presale. Shipping will begin mid to late July. DEEP POCKETS - Tall Bearded IrisViolet standards are edged in a pale yellow band with slightly darker veining. Dark violet falls are near black with white in the throat surrounding the yellow beards. Thin pale yellow edge and lighter violet veining make for an eye-grabbing flower and very striking in the field.
A Note from Bonnie Iris rhizomes are best divided and transplanted after the plants finish blooming and have enough time to store nutrition in their roots. July through September is the best time to dig them up in Ohio. All Iris are grown on my farm and shipped from my home, bareroot with foliage and roots attached.
