This is a presale. Shipping will begin mid to late July. IMMACULATE HEART - Tall Bearded Iris The distinctive part of a luminata pattern is the unmarked patch around the beard. Here we have a larger than usual pure white heart surrounding the white-ended beard. Standards are upright, ruffled, and touching, a lightly greyed cream color. Rosy violet falls with slightly lighter and bluer veining and narrow blue grey edge, even a faint trace of light lace at the distal end, and just a touch of yellow on the hafts.
A Note from Bonnie Iris rhizomes are best divided and transplanted after the plants finish blooming and have enough time to store nutrition in their roots. July through September is the best time to dig them up in Ohio. All Iris are grown on my farm and shipped from my home, bareroot with foliage and roots attached.
