SHIPPING BEGINS MID JULY WOODY WOODPECKER - Standard Dwarf Bearded Iris Standards light lavender-mauve; style arms light lavender; falls light lavender- mauve, large red spot, white rays around beard; beards enormous, bright yellow-orange; slight fragrance. Great flower for the front of garden beds. Grows to 12" and blooms midseason.
A Note from Bonnie Iris rhizomes are best divided and transplanted after the plants finish blooming and have enough time to store nutrition in their roots. July through September is the best time to dig them up in Ohio. All Iris are grown on my farm and shipped from my home, bareroot with foliage and roots attached. BONUS rhizomes are always included at an average rate of 1 for every 5 purchased...my choice.
