This is a presale. Shipping will begin mid to late July. Warming Trend - Tall Bearded Iris Excellent color and contrast! White ground standards are covered in a near solid wash of red purple. Yellow ground falls are marked with a near solid band of plum purple at the edges and a few random sprinkles of plum purple over the rest of the petal. Orange beards, ruffled and serrated edges, 7 buds on nice stalks and a slight sweet scent.
A Note from Bonnie Iris rhizomes are best divided and transplanted after the plants finish blooming and have enough time to store nutrition in their roots. July through September is the best time to dig them up in Ohio.
