This is a presale. Shipping will begin mid to late July. VIKING LORE - Tall Bearded Iris Great color combo! The serrated yellow standards are lightly streaked white near the edges. Dark violet-blue falls are veined lighter and are completed by a 1 1/2” hyacinth blue rim. Buttercup yellow beards have a slight pale purple streak extending down from them towards the edge of the falls. Excellent spaced branching with 7 to 9 buds on sturdy stalks. Pronounced sweet fragrance smells a bit like chocolate.

Iris rhizomes are best divided and transplanted after the plants finish blooming and have enough time to store nutrition in their roots. July through September is the best time to dig them up in Ohio. All Iris are grown on my farm and shipped from my home, bareroot with foliage and roots attached. BONUS rhizomes are always included at an average rate of 1 for every 5 purchased...my choice.
