VELVET VALENTINE - Tall Bearded Iris Standards tightly swirled neyron rose, light purple blush at end of ridge, slight orange blush on edges; falls aster mauve, slightly lighter edge with tangerine beards. Huge ruffled flowers with a nice sweet fragrance. Lots of buds on this beauty makes for a very long bloom time. Grows to 35" and blooms early through late season.

Iris rhizomes are best divided and transplanted after the plants finish blooming and have enough time to store nutrition in their roots. July through September is the best time to dig them up in Ohio. All Iris are grown on my farm and shipped from my home, bareroot with foliage and roots attached. BONUS rhizomes are always included at an average rate of 1 for every 5 purchased...my choice.
