Starting to bloom so early you'd swear it was an intermediate, but it keeps on blooming well into tall bearded season (and on rare occasion has rebloomed). Lots of stalks, lots of buds on this gorgeous glaciata. A delicious combination of lemon, cream, and peach buff standards, creamier lemon falls with peach buff shoulders. Beards lemon white, hairs tipped flame in throat. Heavily ruffled and shirred form. Grows to 27" inches tall and blooms very early to early mid season.
A Note from Bonnie Iris rhizomes are best divided and transplanted after the plants finish blooming and have enough time to store nutrition in their roots. July through September is the best time to dig them up in Ohio. All Iris are grown on my farm and shipped from my home, bareroot with foliage and roots attached. BONUS rhizomes are always included at an average rate of 1 for every 5 purchased...my choice.
