These standards are a cheerful yellow with red dots at the base, and the style arms are also in that lovely yellow. The falls are a rich mahogany red, with a big yellow center that’s surrounded by a yellow-orange beard, and they have a delicious scent. They reach about 32 inches and bloom in the middle of the season.

Iris rhizomes are best divided and transplanted after the plants finish blooming and have enough time to store nutrition in their roots. July through September is the best time to dig them up in Ohio. All Iris are grown on my farm and shipped from my home, bareroot with foliage and roots attached. BONUS rhizomes are always included at an average rate of 1 for every 5 purchased...my choice.
