The popular iris among garden visitors! Colors are really brilliant and vibrant, with 9 buds on long, robust stems. Exciting blend of colors and patterns with white standards plated in a ½" gold rim on borders. Currant red falls contain a white zonal region veined with crimson, which is highlighted by a yellow belly stripe reaching down from orange beards. On sunny days, the falls seem genuine crimson, but on cloudy days they appear more burgundy. A huge attention getter! 36 inches that blooms early to mid to late.

Iris rhizomes are best divided and transplanted after the plants finish blooming and have enough time to store nutrition in their roots. July through September is the best time to dig them up in Ohio. All Iris are grown on my farm and shipped from my home, bareroot with foliage and roots attached. BONUS rhizomes are always included at an average rate of 1 for every 5 purchased...my choice.
