From the Hybridizer : Amazing rich mauve color on this ruffled space ager! Great substance to the petals with 9 buds on excellent stalks. Orange beards end in consistent fuzzy lavender horns. Strong sweet candy scent tops off an excellent addition to the space age field! I really enjoy the color, form, branching and bud count plus the nice fuzzy horns extending out from the beards. Grows to a nice 36inches mid to late season
A Note from Bonnie Iris rhizomes are best divided and transplanted after the plants finish blooming and have enough time to store nutrition in their roots. July through September is the best time to dig them up in Ohio. All Iris are grown on my farm and shipped from my home, bareroot with foliage and roots attached. BONUS rhizomes are always included at an average rate of 1 for every 5 purchased...my choice.
