PLAYING OUR SONG - Tall Bearded IrisKEPPEL It’s a sweet refrain of cool pink undertoned mauve, with an ultra-soft hint of peach apricot on the hafts and a faintly creamier look to the central falls. The beards, white at the very end, soon become a fire red accent note. Colors grey slightly with age but always remain in tune as the melody lingers on. About eight buds on three branches plus terminal. Of easy growth, garden visitors have selected it for the colorful clump effect.

A Note from Bonnie

Iris rhizomes are best divided and transplanted after the plants finish blooming and have enough time to store nutrition in their roots. July through September is the best time to dig them up in Ohio. All Iris are grown on my farm and shipped from my home, bareroot with foliage and roots attached. BONUS rhizomes are always included at an average rate of 1 for every 5 purchased...my choice.
