This is PRE-SALE - SHIPPING BEGINS MID JULY MOOD RING - Tall Bearded Iris Nelson Award 2022 Plumbago purple standards flushed olive grey toward the edges. Silvery lavender to near-white falls banded with mimosa yellow, hafts suffused chamois, beards yellow. Good branching with 7-10 buds. This sibling to Idle Rich is a distinctively different take on the “dark top” theme. Grows to 36" and blooms mid season.
A Note from Bonnie Iris rhizomes are best divided and transplanted after the plants finish blooming and have enough time to store nutrition in their roots. July through September is the best time to dig them up in Ohio. All Iris are grown on my farm and shipped from my home, bareroot with foliage and roots attached.
