Standards light yellow; falls pale lavender blue with a distinctive darker vertical central wash. A touch of yellow on the hafts, plus beards that change from lavender to yellow, unite the flower parts visually. Gently waved and ruffled, Stalks with up to a dozen buds coupled with rapid increase insure a long bloom season. Grows to 37" and blooms early to late season.
A Note from Bonnie Iris rhizomes are best divided and transplanted after the plants finish blooming and have enough time to store nutrition in their roots. July through September is the best time to dig them up in Ohio. All Iris are grown on my farm and shipped from my home, bareroot with foliage and roots attached.BONUS rhizomes are always included at an average rate of 1 for every 5 purchased...my choice.
