Best seedling of show in Nampa, May 2022. This fantastic addition to the border bearded class has rich, deep colors! Golden yellow borders encircle standards with ruffled deep copper brown color. Overall, black highlights draw attention to the very dark red purple falls with a narrow yellow border. A yellow throat surrounds yellow beards. 7 buds on well-proportioned stalks, with a strong bloom and growth habits, and a faintly sweet aroma. Grows to 26 inches and blooms mid season

Iris rhizomes are best divided and transplanted after the plants finish blooming and have enough time to store nutrition in their roots. July through September is the best time to dig them up in Ohio. All Iris are grown on my farm and shipped from my home, bareroot with foliage and roots attached.
