Standards walnut brown; falls dark red-brown, much darker rich brown spot; beards sharply contrasting yellow-orange Great flower for the front of garden beds. Grows to 10" and blooms mid season.
A Note from Bonnie Iris rhizomes are best divided and transplanted after the plants finish blooming and have enough time to store nutrition in their roots. July through September is the best time to dig them up in Ohio. All Iris are grown on my farm and shipped from my home, bareroot with foliage and roots attached.
